Volleyball Recap: Wind River Cougars vs. Greybull Buffaloes
Wind River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 32nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Greybull Buffaloes. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Buffaloes when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
While Wind River ultimately came up short, they really made Greybull work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 26-24, 25-9.
Shayne Cheatham went supernova For Greybull., getting 21 digs. Those 21 digs gave Cheatham a new career-high.
Wind River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Greybull, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season.
