Basketball Game Preview: Loganville Red Devils vs. Clarke Central Gladiators

The Loganville Red Devils and the Clarke Central Gladiators will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loganville will be strutting in after a win while Clarke Central will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Loganville earned a 70-58 victory over Apalachee.

Meanwhile, Clarke Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 73-54 bruising from Greater Atlanta Christian. While losing is never fun, the Gladiators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 383rd, while the Spartans are ranked 149th).

Clarke Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Loganville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Loganville came up short against Clarke Central in their previous meeting back in January, falling 63-55. Can Loganville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
