With a playoff win on the line, Poquoson rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the King William Cavaliers. Poquoson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting King William from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Makayla Goodson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The victory was the third in a row for Poquoson, bringing their record up to 10-6. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for King William, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.

As of now, neither Poquoson nor the Cavaliers have any future games scheduled.
