Softball Recap: Sparta's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Sparta fell victim to Lowell and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Arrows. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Spartans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Taliya Dauser spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
