Basketball Recap: Northwest Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Northwest waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They managed a 52-47 victory over the Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Fighting Owls are ranked 585th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northwest pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Mt. Healthy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
