St. Bernard suffered their closest defeat since April 26, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Norwich RVT Warriors by a score of 10-8. The Saints' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Kaitlyn Scribner put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

In other batting news, Olivia Kane made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Another player making a difference was Madison Scribner, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

St. Bernard's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Norwich RVT, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
