Football Recap: Bedford Bisons vs. Chestnut Ridge Lions

Bedford was the 27-10 winner over Chestnut Ridge when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bisons were beaten by the Lions 35-7 on Friday. The Bisons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gabriel Taylor threw for 79 yards on six of 12 attempts. Bennett Steele was his top target, picking up 76 receiving yards and one score.

It was another big night for Jayden Imler, who rushed for 277 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry for Chestnut Ridge. With that strong performance, Imler is now averaging an impressive 112.2 rushing yards per game. Cooper Barefoot also deserves some recognition as he punched in his first rushing touchdown of the season.
