Baseball Recap: Clover Park Takes a Loss

Clover Park managed to slip by Eatonville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Timberwolves came up short against the Cruisers on Wednesday, falling 9-3. The Timberwolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cruisers earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Clover Park now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Eatonville, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.

Coming up, Clover Park will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Franklin Pierce at 4:00 p.m. The Timberwolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 13 runs per game this season. As for Eatonville, they will face off against Fife at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Cruisers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
