Franklin never let their opponents score on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Racine Case Eagles. The Sabers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by seven runs or more this season.

Not much got past Brody Charles, who gave up just a hit and racked up six Ks to keep Racine Case off the board. Those six strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Charles.

At the plate, Franklin got a big performance out of Nick Firle, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Firle is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dominick Walters, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Franklin pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Racine Case, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
