Game recap: Mountain View High School Football Team tops Perry

After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, Mountain View (Mesa, Ariz.) led 37-6 at the half.

The Toros grew their lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. Mountain View's lone score in the quarter came on a Cayman Nielson touchdown run.

Mountain View's most effective player was John Clark.

The loss comes after Perry defeated Gila Ridge 27-7 last week. The win brought Mountain View's winning streak to four games. The loss ended Perry's two-game winning streak.

In a non-conference game next week Mountain View (4-0) takes on Pinnacle, and Perry (2-2) will go up against Mountain Ridge also in a non-conference game.
