Basketball Recap: Zaquis Timberlake's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tandem Friends over King Abdullah Academy

Tandem Friends was the 59-50 winner over King Abdullah Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Tandem Friends Badgers took a 79-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the King Abdullah Academy Falcons on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (58), the Badgers still had to take the loss.

Tandem Friends lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zaquis Timberlake, who posted 18 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Tyler, who put up 17 points.

Tandem Friends' defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for King Abdullah Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-17.

As of now, neither Tandem Friends nor King Abdullah Academy have any future games scheduled.
