Churchill County won the last time they faced South Tahoe and things went their way on Thursday too. The Greenwave were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greenwave.

While Churchill County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-23.

Raegan Johnson paced Churchill County's offense, picking up 16 kills. Johnson got some help from Layla Walker and her 30 assists. Lea Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Churchill County's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for South Tahoe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
