Volleyball Game Preview: Southwest Guilford Cowboys vs. East Forsyth Eagles + How To Watch

The Southwest Guilford Cowboys will head out to square off against the East Forsyth Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Southwest Guilford is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Tuesday, Southwest Guilford made easy work of Dudley and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Southwest Guilford was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7, 25-14.

East Forsyth hadn't beaten West Forsyth on the road since October 13, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Titans 3-2.

East Forsyth wouldn't go down easily and took West Forsyth into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-18, 14-25, 25-23, 15-7.

East Forsyth's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Southwest Guilford, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Southwest Guilford came out on top in a nail-biter against East Forsyth when the teams last played back in September of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Cowboys have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
