Soccer Game Preview: St. Charles East vs. Lyons

The St. Charles East Fighting Saints will be taking part in a tournament against the Lyons Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Charles East's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, St. Charles East and St. Charles North finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Lyons was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to Hinsdale Central.

Lyons has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season. St. Charles East's draw gives them a new season record of 14-2-2.
