Volleyball Game Preview: O'Bannon Greenwaves vs. Nettleton Tigers

The O'Bannon Greenwaves will head out to challenge the Nettleton Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. O'Bannon is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, O'Bannon came up short against West Bolivar and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Nettleton duked it out with Amory on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-15 in the first set.

Nettleton actually scored more points across those five sets (107-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 26-24, 21-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Nettleton's defeat dropped their record down to 19-13. As for O'Bannon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
