Football Recap: Lapeer Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Lapeer had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a hard 21-7 fall against the Lakeview Huskies on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lapeer will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Goodrich at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Lakeview, they will challenge Chippewa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
