Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Logan/Palco). They managed a 44-39 victory over the Cheylin Cougars on Friday. Logan/Palco hasn't had any issues with Cheylin recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Logan/Palco to victory, but perhaps none more so than Easton Gottschalk, who went 6-for-12 en route to 14 points. Gottschalk is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Taden Gottschalk, who posted 12 points.

Logan/Palco now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Cheylin, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Logan/Palco and Cheylin will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Logan/Palco sees the court they'll take on Decatur Community at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026. As for Cheylin, their break will end when they face Wauneta-Palisade at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
