Soccer Recap: Village Christian Academy Starts Season with Win Against Fayetteville Homeschool

Village Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Fayetteville HomeSchool Crusaders a 7-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Reese Ferrell as she scored three goals for her team.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Village Christian Academy will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Northwood Temple Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fayetteville HomeSchool will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on DASH at 4:00 p.m. on March 13th.
