Basketball Game Preview: Ferriday Trojans vs. Vidalia Vikings

The Ferriday Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Vidalia Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Ferriday was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 72-66 to Madison.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Vidalia, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in January. They breezed by Caldwell Parish to the tune of 63-30 on Friday.

Ferriday's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Vidalia, their victory bumped their record up to 12-15.

Ferriday strolled past Vidalia in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 57-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ferriday since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
