Softball Recap: Edwardsburg Has No Trouble Against Concord

Edwardsburg came out on top against Concord on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run sixth inning. The Eddies blew past the Minutemen 14-1. The result was nothing new for the Eddies, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Edwardsburg and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Concord, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edwardsburg will square off against Berrien Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Shamrocks will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eddies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Concord, they will take on NorthWood at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
