Volleyball Recap: Muchin College Prep Comes Up Short

Muchin College Prep lost against Mansueto back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mountain Lions fell 2-0 to the Leopards. The Mountain Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Muchin College Prep was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23.

Muchin College Prep now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Mansueto, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Muchin College Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Victoria Soto at 5:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Mansueto, they will challenge Holy Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Leopards are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
