Volleyball Recap: BASIS Shavano Takes a Loss

BASIS Shavano kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Aggieland HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luke Hoeschle, who had five digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Hoeschle a new career-high. Jeremiah Smith also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

The victory (which was Aggieland HomeSchool's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

BASIS Shavano does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Somerset Academy Collegiate on the 22nd.
