Sunnyside won the last time they faced Canyon del Oro and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blue Devils walked away with a 79-68 win over the Dorados.

Sunnyside had a senior duo take command as Carlos Cardenas posted 25 points and Nathan Schofield had 22 points. Alexis Laguna Pesqueira was another key player, putting up eight points.

When it comes to explaining why Canyon del Oro lost, don't look at Julian Robles. Despite the final result, he shot 75% from the field on his way to 22 points. Robles is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 54% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Aiden Peiro, who scored 18 points and five assists.
