Basketball Recap: Dime Box Takes a Loss

After flying high against North Zulch last Friday, Dime Box came back down to earth. The Dime Box Longhorns took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Richards Panthers on Friday. The Longhorns have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Dime Box now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Richards, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Dime Box will be playing in front of their home fans against Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dime Box is on a three-game streak of home wins, Fayetteville a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Richards, they will head out on the road to square off against North Zulch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
