Soccer Game Preview: Odyssey Institute vs. Benjamin Franklin

The Odyssey Institute Minotaur will challenge the Benjamin Franklin Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Odyssey Institute is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let River Valley onto the board and left with a 14-0 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Minotaur needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Franklin had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Gophers.

The win got Benjamin Franklin back to even at 4-4-1. As for Odyssey Institute, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 5-6-1.
