Lake Creek waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Huntsville Hornets by a score of 4-2. Even though the Lions got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Brantley Robbins was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Lake Creek hit Huntsville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Reid Robert (2), Santiago Segura, and Efrain Solis.

Lake Creek's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Huntsville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lake Creek duke it out with the A&M Consolidated at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Huntsville, they will venture away from home to take on College Station at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
