Interboro and Northwestern Lehigh squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Interboro had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 6-4. The Buccaneers' loss signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Mare Nagle was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Burrell, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Interboro's defeat dropped their record down to 21-3. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Interboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they will take on Valley View on Monday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
