Graceville led 1A District 2 in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on Wewahitchka. Rasheed Campbell ran for 243 yards in the win.
The Gators' dynamic duo of Rashard Rainey and Javar Hill proved tough for the Tigers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Rainey threw for 110 yards and one touchdown and Hill had 105 yards receiving. Jarvest Sherfield helped Wewahitchka's passing attack out by catching one ball for five yards.
Wewahitchka's Rainey and Hill have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Rainey has thrown for 545 yards this season, while Hill, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 10 catches for 221 yards. Sneads's Tre Keys leads the league in rushing yards with 564.
Cottondale made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,761 from 11,493. The advance stemmed from a 34-13 victory over Vernon last week.
