Football Recap: Highlands Ranch Falls to Pomona in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Highlands Ranch kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Pomona Panthers, falling 42-2. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Alexa Hart threw for 75 yards on eight of 17 attempts. Sophia Wittwer was her top target, picking up 40 receiving yards. On the ground, Addison McLeod rushed for 32 yards.

Highlands Ranch will challenge Air Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pomona, they will face off against Standley Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
