Softball Recap: Enloe Comes Up Short

Enloe was the 7-2 winner over Cardinal Gibbons when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. Enloe lost 21-7 to Cardinal Gibbons on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Crusaders since March 29, 2022.

Madison Haga made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Enloe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Cardinal Gibbons, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enloe will welcome Athens Drive at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they will host Holly Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Holly Springs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Cardinal Gibbons surely won't give up without a fight.
