Soccer Recap: Houston Math Science & Tech Comes Up Short

After flying high against Heights last Tuesday, Houston Math Science & Tech came back down to earth. The Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers fell just short of the Lamar Texans by a score of 2-1 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 316th, while the Texans are ranked 75th).

Houston Math Science & Tech's loss dropped their record down to 8-7-5. As for Lamar, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3-3.

As of now, neither Houston Math Science & Tech nor Lamar have any future games scheduled.
