Softball Recap: Brick Memorial Falls to Manchester Township in First Game of Season

Brick Memorial kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Manchester Township Hawks by a score of 5-4. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brick Memorial will take on Point Pleasant Beach at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manchester Township, they will challenge Toms River South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
