Soccer Game Preview: Keswick Christian vs. Out-of-Door Academy

The Keswick Christian Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Keswick Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Donahue Catholic a 2-0 shutout.

Landon Pauley and Gavin Brady scored both of Keswick Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Meanwhile, Out-of-Door Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Rays 7-0. Considering the Thunder have won eight games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Out-of-Door Academy's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those eight contests. As for Keswick Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6-3.

Keswick Christian beat Out-of-Door Academy 7-5 when the teams last played back in December of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for Keswick Christian since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
