Basketball Recap: North Florida Christian Has No Trouble Against FAMU DRS

North Florida Christian hadn't done well against FAMU DRS recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The North Florida Christian Eagles enjoyed a cozy 63-48 win over the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 43-39 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, FAMU DRS had strong showings from Nivre Green, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 19 rebounds, and Hailyn Forbes, who posted eight points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. Those 16 points gave Green a new career-high.

North Florida Christian now has a winning record of 6-5. As for FAMU DRS, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

North Florida Christian will challenge Blountstown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for FAMU DRS, they will venture away from home to face off against Maclay at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
