Softball Recap: Spring Hill Raiders vs. Culleoka Warriors

Spring Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 15-4 to the Culleoka Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in March.

Hazelyn Minton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Lilly Yayah, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Spring Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Culleoka, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Hill will welcome Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Culleoka, they will be playing at home against Fayetteville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
