Meanwhile, Vernon had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Bowie with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.
Vernon never let Bowie on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 26-24.
