After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Allentown Central Catholic, Marian Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils 3-1. Marian Catholic hasn't had any issues with Shenandoah Valley recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Shenandoah Valley, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marian Catholic will challenge Nativity BVM at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shenandoah Valley, they will take on Mahanoy Area at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.43 runs per game on average), something the Blue Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of.
