Baseball Recap: Mead Mavericks vs. Silver Creek Raptors
Mead lost to Silver Creek back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Mavericks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Raptors.
Kaleb Walter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits.

On the hitting side, Mead let Edison Burke and Stryker Leick run wild. Burke went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Leick went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
