Soccer Recap: Ascend Leadership Takes a Loss

Ascend Leadership was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Clover Garden School Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Clover Garden School this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in March.

Ascend Leadership's goal came courtesy of Kadyn Perez, who's now up to two this season.

Ascend Leadership's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Clover Garden School, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Ascend Leadership has already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Triangle Math & Science on the 28th. As for Clover Garden School, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 victory against Chatham Charter on the 28th.
