Baseball Recap: Chapin Comes Up Short

Chapin lost against Canutillo back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies lost 13-6 to the Eagles.

Chapin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Hurtado, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Chapin's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Canutillo, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chapin is set to challenge their familiar foe Andress at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Canutillo will face off against rival Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
