Volleyball Recap: Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

There's no place like home for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Highland Prep West HORNETS on Thursday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Scottsdale Preparatory Academy was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-12.

Sophie Ryken paced Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ryken got some help from Clare Eastlack and her 15 assists. Ryken was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Scottsdale Preparatory Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-11 record this season. As for Highland Prep West, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Scottsdale Preparatory Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Valley on the 4th. Highland Prep West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
