Quinter piles up the points against Western Plains/Healy

Recap: Quinter Bulldogs vs. Western Plains/Healy
The Quinter Bulldogs won the last time they faced Western Plains/Healy, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Quinter claimed a resounding 72-24 win over Western Plains/Healy at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-9.
Bryn Gillespie was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 24 points along with 4 steals. Mia Briggs was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Quinter and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Western Plains/Healy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Quinter will be playing in front of their home fans against Pawnee Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Western Plains/Healy, they will take on Dighton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Dighton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.
