Soccer Recap: Gibson County Finishes Even with Fayette Ware

Gibson County and Fayette Ware pushed the score to 7-2 the last time they played Fayette Ware, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. Neither the Pioneers nor the Wildcats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Gibson County's first draw of the season.

Gibson County's draw gives them a new season record of 3-2-1. Meanwhile, Fayette Ware's record is now 2-0-1.

Gibson County has already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against Fayette Academy on the 28th. As for Fayette Ware, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Riverside on the 25th.
