The American School for the Deaf Tigers will take on the Ohio School for the Deaf Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

American School for the Deaf scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 56-15 win over Horace Mann School for the Deaf at home. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded American School for the Deaf with their most commanding win of the season.

American School for the Deaf relied on the efforts of Basil B, who scored 20 points along with four steals, and John M, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which M has scored at least a third of American School for the Deaf's points. Winkester M was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.

Meanwhile, Ohio School for the Deaf had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points), and they went ahead and made it three two weeks ago. They slipped by Oakstone Academy 52-51.

American School for the Deaf's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Ohio School for the Deaf, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.
