There's no place like home for Prairie View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Boulder Panthers on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Thunderhawks have posted against the Panthers since October 31, 2015.

Prairie View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 24-26, 25-19, 25-18, 15-5.

Prairie View has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Boulder, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Prairie View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Northglenn on the 9th. As for Boulder, they will be playing at home against Westminster at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
