Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairland). Everything went their way against the Nowata Ironmen on Monday as they made off with a 23-9 win. The Owls not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21st (when they won 22-6).

Fairland's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-12. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Nowata, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Fairland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Ketchum on the 15th. Nowata has also already played their next match (against Bluejacket), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
