Softball Recap: Jeffersonville Red Devils vs. North Harrison Cougars        
        
		
            
 There's no place like home for Jeffersonville, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Wednesday. They skirted past the North Harrison Cougars  5-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Jeffersonville also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2023.
 Jeffersonville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Andrea Campbell, who  went 1-for-4 with a  stolen base, a  double,  and  an  RBI.  Ashlyn McClure was another key contributor,  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances with  an  RBI.
 On North Harrison's side,  Gabby White made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Bryn Myrick, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Even though they lost, North Harrison  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 12  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jeffersonville only tossed three.
 Jeffersonville's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for North Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-13.
 Jeffersonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Harrison, they will be playing at home against Paoli at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. North Harrison is facing Paoli at the right time seeing as Paoli is stuck on  a  16-game losing streak.
