Softball Recap: Bloomington Comes Up Short

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Schulenburg Shorthorns, falling 24-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Shorthorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 back in March.

Bloomington's record now sits at 0-18. As for Schulenburg, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-19-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bloomington is set to face off against their familiar foe Weimar at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Schulenburg will square off against rival Louise at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Shorthorns are on a three-game streak of home losses, and the Hornets a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.
