Basketball Recap: North Davidson Black Knights vs. Watauga Pioneers
North Davidson lost against Watauga back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Davidson Black Knights were dealt an 85-37 loss at the hands of the Watauga Pioneers. The Black Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-20.
North Davidson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Coen Miller, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Forrest, who put up nine points.
It was another big night for Josiah Railey, who went 9 of 10 on his way to 19 points along with six rebounds and five assists for Watauga. Cade Keller was another key player, going 6 for 11 on his way to 14 points and four steals.
