Volleyball Recap: Everett Alvarez Eagles vs. Rancho San Juan Trailblazers

Everett Alvarez was the 2-1 winner over Rancho San Juan when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Trailblazers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Everett Alvarez actually scored more points across those five sets (107-104), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-21, 26-24, 16-25, 15-12.

Austin Valdez was a one-man wrecking crew For Rancho San Juan. as he had 47 digs and one assist. Those 47 digs gave Valdez a new career-high. Eli Francis also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
